I am trying out something new.As a creative and content writer that is now a contributing writer for a renowned brand, there's a particular area I haven't quite explored nor written on.Options like tech, education, lifestyle, fashion, games, movie and book reviews were listed.Can you guess what I picked?😹Fashion.Yeah, yeah.According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, "social standing or prominence especially as signalized by dress or conduct" is fashion.No doubts I have a bit of idea on it based on certain fashion content and shows that I consume.Already sourcing for materials that would make my write ups surrounding fashion really interesting.On this space, there's someone's fashion posts I always look forward to, he's Micheal Raimi.He's really good at what he does.************My writing journey has been nothing short of amazing, exploring different areas daily.Academic research papers is the next on my list, so help me God. How may I help you?Lola: What tools do you use for writing?Me: I use a couple of tools for easy access and storage.I would start with my favorite.💜Google Docs- this apk has saved my life countless times. It saves literally everything even if you just opened a new document without typing on it.It also checks spelling errors and punctuations.I have been on interviews and they asked for samples while on the meeting/call.I didn't have to panic or create a sample immediately.All I had to do was share the link to one of my write ups and change access to either 'viewer, commenter or editor'.The interface is user-friendly also.💜Thesaurus- for checking words, their origin, pronunciation and antonyms and synonyms. I don't use the thesaurus alone, Merriam-Webster's dictionary has the thesaurus feature. It's like a 2-1 bonus.☺️There are a bunch of other apps but these two are what I use. Just read through Ekighawogho Benson-Osagie's profile and I saw a lot of similarities.First off, she began building her online presence at 17, lol, I also just began and I am 17. Results, results, results.When I said wishing us all a productive week ahead on Sunday, my life took it personal.🤭Just yesterday, I got recruited as a writer for a renowned company.I just got off an interview for the role of a virtual assistant this morning."Opportunities are always available"Now, the problem is, are you ready for them?Opportunities are meant to be meet us prepared and ready, not you waiting for the opportunity before you are ready.I started building myself in the tech/digital world this year, January.This was someone who had no idea of the industry works.All I did, was do a bit of research and I found top digital academies.My current exposure and life-changing opportunities are all thanks to God, Tech Sisi and The Springsgates Grammar School.Who could have thought that a secondary school graduate who just followed her passion would be opportuned to all of this.There's so much to say but I will just stop here.PS: I am open to volunteering, interning and working as a writer, content creator and virtual assistant.PPS: I just reached 300+ followers.#linkedingrowth #writer #virtualassistant #contentcreator #youngCEO
