BAKICH, Michael Peter Age 74, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Vitas Hospice at Drake Center in Cincinnati where he had been a patient for 10 days. He was born October 7, 1946, in Delmont, Pennsylvania, and lived in Middletown since 2010. He received his Degree from Purdue and his PHD from Texas A M. He was employed as a Civilian Research Engineer at Wright-- Patterson Air Force Base from 2002 to 2019, then was employed as a Research Engineer at Riverside Research from 2019 until his death in 2021. Michael enjoyed the fifties and sixties blues music and Serbian Traditional music.

He played many instruments including the guitar, harmonica, piano and recorder. He also enjoyed flying gliders from the Warren County Airport, and rebuilding his Norton 850 Commando Motorcycle. He was of the Orthodox Faith. Preceding him in death were his parents, Milovan and Sophia (Opacic) Bakich; and his wife, Elizabeth Anne Bakich in 2014. He is survived by three children, Samuel Milovan Bakich, Peter Gerhardt Bakich and Celestine Sophia Bakich.

Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2021, at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main Middle- town from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with Prayer Services at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.

Gloria married Duane Corn II on May 20, 1971, and settled in Middletown, where she and her husband raised their daughter. Gloria moved to Charlotte, NC, in 1996. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Cristie (Tom) Riley and granddaughter, Morgan Riley.

Lloyd graduated from Garfield High School in 1961, followed by active duty in the Navy. He enjoyed a 36-year career at Avon Products and continued to work 12 more years at Superior Acura in Fairfield. In 1964 Lloyd married Sharon Short.

He was father of LeAnna and Bryan but his true joy came from Suzanne, Sean, Matthew, Madison, Lilly and Sophia, his grandchildren and Elijah, Willow, Grace, Nova and Rowan, his great-grandchildren. In addition, Lloyd had a special connection with Adam, Alex and Zach Powell whom he thought of as family. Lloyd is survived by his twin brother, Dean Doughty, brother Cam Mullins and sisters Jean Tuttle and Brecky Daithe. She was born December 8th, 1927, in Wilmington, Ohio, to the late Lawrence and Opal (Lane) Drake. Virginia was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, teaching Sunday School for over 50 years, most recently at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, Ohio.

Virginia was very involved in her church and community in various ways. Some of these included being a scout leader, cub scout den mother, and a band booster for Franklin and Carlisle Schools. She belonged to Silver Rails, Carlisle CERA, Lioness Club, and lead many craft groups. Virginia is survived by her three children, Lorrie Brassington, Ellen (Ranny) Varney, Gary (Sonia) Grove and daughter Patti Rouster; grandchildren, Wendi Armstrong, Heather (Doug) Roth, Todd (Melissa) Swartz, Jamey (Tia) Varney, Holly (Steve) Dillon, Jenna Grove, Mitchell Grove; and twelve great-grandchildren, Molly and Trevor Zimmerman, Olivia and Alex Roth, Reagan and Kendall Swartz, Alec Crawford, Kyle, Carter, and Grace Dillon and Addison and Ainsley Varney; as well as many other family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Russell Grove; son-in-law, Terry Brassington and granddaughter, Stephanie Presley.

HILLARD, William Bradley William Bradley Hillard, age 74, of Franklin, OH, died Saturday May 1, 2021, at his residence. William was born on May 25, 1946, to the late William Bradley and Gladys (Eversole) Hillard.

William was formerly employed with General Motors as a tow end inspector. He was preceded in death by brother, Harold (Nancy) Durham and his nephew, Johnny Ray Durham. On April 23, 2021, Ronald Talbert Russell "Ronnie," left on his final journey. Ronnie was born January 12, 1969, in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to Jennie (Turner) and Kenneth Russell, Sr.

The family moved to Franklin, Ohio, where Ronnie graduated high school. While serving in the U.S. Navy, he was stationed in Keflavik, Iceland. An avid outdoorsman, Ronnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery and softball, winning many division titles with his brothers. He also enjoyed coaching and watching his children play sports; and he loved the Kentucky Wildcats.

Known for his impeccable work ethic that was admired by his employer and colleagues, he worked the last 20 years at Martin Marietta. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, Dustin Russell and all four grandparents. He is survived by his son, A. Jacob Russell of Cincinnati; his daughter, Riley C. Russell of Trenton; brothers, Kenneth R.

On June 22, 1957, in St. Ann Church, she married Joseph E. Schwartz and he pre- ceded her in death on October 30, 2008. Mrs. Schwartz was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church and a life member of the V.F.W.
